From the time full payment is received, orders are typically processed and dispatched 1-3 business days through Australia Post or a Courier. A signature on delivery is required. Delivery fee charged is for standard one man delivery service. For heavy or oversized items, the courier may require you and possibly another person to help the driver unloading the item from the truck.
Please provide a non-PO-Box address as we cannot ship to a PO Box. If there will be no one home during the day, we advise you to ship your parcel to your work address.
Shipping charges for multiple items
Shipping costs are influenced by the size, weight and your delivery location. Lifestyle and Beyond currently calculates standard sized postage costs on a per item basis. Discounted shipping costs apply when purchasing multiple items. Many products are manufactured and shipped from different suppliers. As such, the postage might not be combined if the products you ordered come from different suppliers. Delivery times also vary depending on the supplier.
A shipping estimate option is available prior to submitting your order so you can calculate postage. If no shipping rates are displayed for your location, please contact us at email@example.com for a quote.
Additional fees added for heavy items
Products that are over 22kg require a more specialised service and will incur additional fees depending on the delivery location. This service is currently only available to Australian locations.
Additional fees may be added for international shipping
At Lifestyle and Beyond, some products are shipped from overseas and can take 2-4 weeks to be delivered. In some cases, shipment may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient.
Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. Please check your address carefully when placing your order. Should the package be undeliverable, a redelivery fee will apply. In rare cases, it is also possible that the address label became illegible during the shipping and handling process, in this case the goods will be re-shipped free of charge.
If you are not at home when your package arrives and it was being delivered by Post eParcel or Australian Air Express, a card will be left in your letter box so that you can pick it up from your local Post Office. If your package was being delivered by a courier, arrangements will be made in advance to ensure that your package can be delivered at a time convenient to you. Should you not be at home at the agreed time, a redelivery fee may apply.
If you are sending a gift, it may be a good idea to let the recipient know that a surprise is on the way, otherwise they may refuse to accept the package believing that it was sent to them in error. If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not receive confirmation of its return to us after 4 weeks from the estimated delivery date, please contact us.
In the above cases when the freight company returns an undeliverable package to us, we will contact you via email or phone.
